CIRKUS KABÁT 2021

Kabát finished its series of 28 unique concerts.

The PPA provided complete production, technical, and design support for an unprecedented series of 28 concerts for the long-standing most popular Czech band, Kabát. All of this was accomplished in an incredible eight weeks, which ultimately meant setting up, performing, dismantling, and relocating three concerts a week to another city!

Given the ambiguity of regulations regarding the organization of mass cultural events, and the ongoing global pandemic of COVID-19, PPS prepared a unique project for the artist. The project used a circus tent with flaps opened as a venue. The unclarity which accompanies these times led us to the simple and yet artistically striking solution. A curiosity of the tour was utilizing exclusively (except for intra) white (naturally yellow for filament sources) shades of lights.
